Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Some are needed for the site to work at all; others help us improve it.

What cookies are
Essential cookies
These keep you signed in, protect forms against abuse, and remember your cookie choice.
The same session also holds the town or location you chose, so we can show you what is nearby. That location stays on our server and is not sent anywhere.
They do not require your consent because the site could not function without them, and they cannot be turned off.
Preference cookies
These remember extra settings and tailor content, for example in third-party tools embedded in our pages. They are set only with consent.
Your language, appearance and chosen place are always remembered, because you asked for them yourself; that needs no consent.
Counting offer views
We show companies how many times their offer was displayed and how many times somebody opened it. Only totals are kept — no view records who you are.
So that one look is not counted three times, we note in your session for half an hour that you have already seen that offer. None of this leaves our server and none of it is used for advertising.
Analytics cookies
We use Google Analytics to see which offers people care about and where the site trips them up.
They are only set after you consent. Until then, nothing at all is loaded from Google.
Marketing cookies
These let us measure whether advertising works and show more relevant offers. They too are set only with consent.
The "chosen for you" recommendations in your account have nothing to do with cookies. They are built from what you actually did — what you took, saved or reviewed — and the page always says what it used. Nothing is inferred from browsing alone.
